National Archives of Mongolia

Sugarsuren explains his work as Film Archivist at the National Archives of Mongolia. Films, photographs and newspapers are preserved and centralized in this location, where more than 40 employees work. The National Archives hold more than 212 films on 35mm film stocks (dated between 1936 and 2003), more than 1000 documentaries and 188 foreign films. The archives also hold photographs (1911 – 2017) and recordings from Mongolian Radios (1963 onwards).
