Daily Life in the Ger District

Altantsog Gonchig moved from the steppe to the city of Ulaanbaatar because of the harsh winter her family lost their livestock and they had to find a new job. As part of the project “Dear Migrant, We Are Were With You”, Altantsog Gonchig was trained as hairdresser and beauty specialist while her younger brother was trained as a chef. Thanks to the project “Dear Migrant”, many nomadic people who moved from the countryside to the city were able to learn a new profession, get a job, and go to as well as go to school and get benefits for a better integration in the new city life.
